Hello all
As you may be aware, I recently revived Writers-Workshop and now into the fourth workshop since starting again. Three of these workshops have been run by myself, but what made the group so awesome in the past was having different hosts each month. This also meant drawing in from different experiences, skills and cultures from all over deviantART, giving a wide variety of workshop choices. We are now looking for future workshop hosts, trying to book up to the end of this year, with a different workshop each month.
You can run it by yourself, or with a friend or on behalf of another group, we are all for that. Your workshop can also be whatever you like as long as it fits the month period. If you are unfamiliar with our group format, it might be worth keeping an eye on the current workshops to see how it all works. There is a dedicated backroom team to support you also, so you're not flying solo. It would be really positive to increase the diversity around the workshop.
The actual commitment of a month sounds huge, but what we're really asking for is someone to write a launch journal, keep everyone enthused about the workshop and a wrap up journal at the end. We don't expect the workshop host to critique every workshop submission, but we do ask for them to select a few pieces that stood out and to share their thoughts on how the workshop went.
If you are interested, we are looking to book people from September through to December (and beyond if we actually get that many people!). Please drop Writers-Workshop a note with the month(s) you would be interested in hosting a workshop and share any ideas you have on a workshop.

NOTES
1. You must already be a member of Writers-Workshop. We'd prefer you to have participated in one or more of our previous workshops already, so you have an understanding of our format.
2. Please consider the content of the workshop you are planning. We look for people who have some kind of experience in the subject area they want to workshop. (For example, please don't ask to host a workshop on children's prose if you have never written for children before!). We also love diversity- think about different forms, styles, particular writers, prompts, themes, poetry, prose, scripts, nonfiction- anything!
3. As a workshop host, you will be given certain rights to manage the group. This will include the allowance to post journals and accept/reject submissions to the workshop gallery. It also means you will have temporary access to our back room and private areas. If you are accepted as a host, we expect you to treat these areas with respect and privacy.
