Curse is trying to get me again. Ate my laptop on the 2nd day, and has just started hitting me with what feels like the beginnings of a chest infection, BUT my laptop is up and running again and I save everything in dropbox so I lost no words and wrote on my desktop while my laptop was dead and my wordcount is currently higher than it ever got to last year. So, fingers crossed.
Oh, same here. First my internet got disconnected - my boyfriend failed to see that one of the internet bills wasn't paid Then the text editor app deleted my whole file (I'm writing on my Android phone), but I though no sweat, I have it on dropbox. Well, I did, but since my internet was down it didn't sync it and it was two days old and some 1k words short  But then, after digging through the files the whole afternoon I found that the stupid app does make a backup, and all the words were there! And just as I thought I cought a break, I woke up the next morning with a swollen wrist. After a trip to the ER that lasted some 4 hours (during which I wrote some 500 words while waiting, would've been more if my battery hadn't died) the X-ray showed that my wrist was broken Somehow I managed to crack it in my sleep, don't ask me how. Now I have a nice big cast from my elbow to my knuckles. But I'm still writing, I've been on schedule the whole time, I was even ahead for a while! So far it's my best NaNo yet, first year that I haven't been desperatly behind schedule!
